Gouverneur Morris made some changes of his own when writing the Constitution, and not all of them were caught!

It is generally accepted that Gouverneur Morris wrote the Committee of Style draft. It is also strongly suspected by many that he slipped in some changes of his own, designed to give the federal government more power than they might seem at first glance. There is powerful evidence to support this suspicion.
