If the prosecutor ever figures out what happened, any plea deal that Charlie might have been in line for is pretty much gone.
Well also isn’t this perjury? Or some other kind of felonious thing?
I can’t imagine it’s perjury since she wasn’t under any sort of oath. Maybe something like filing a false report, or impeding an investigation?
I think the judge said she was examined under oath.
That would be framing (whatever the legal term is), in addition to the perjury.
What is her endgame here? How could this stunt possibly end up working in her favor? Was she just hoping they wouldn’t make the bust until she was already sentenced?
