    This is a neat example of metadata, and how it can reveal enough information that there should be some form of warrant for it’s use. One annoying thing about the NSA scandal is the number of people who say “They’re only collecting metadata, who cares about that?”. While it doesn’t say as much as the contents of a communication, it’s still sensitive enough that it should be private.
