This is a purely educational website. Nothing here is legal advice or creates or implies an attorney-client relationship. If you have a specific legal issue, PLEASE talk to a lawyer who practices where you live—laws vary from place to place, and how they're applied varies from courthouse to courthouse. Your local county bar association can probably refer someone who handles matters like yours.

It's best to keep all discussions in the comments. But if you really need to reach Nathan privately, go ahead and email him at n.e.burney@gmail.com. He won't mind.
THE ILLUSTRATED GUIDE TO LAW and the PEEKING JUSTICE logo are pretty damn cool trademarks and should probably be registered one of these days.

Is that the stink eye the defense attorney is giving his client? :)
Also, I think you might be missing a “we” in the last panel (or something to that effect).
Fxt, thx!
I know it’s unlikely, but is it possible that the defense attorney didn’t know that it all started with an armed robbery, as opposed to merely “driving” recklessly? After all, that’s how the chapter started, and we’re just now learning it ourselves.
It doesn’t sound like it. He’s trying to keep the armed robbery from coming up at all
“Beware of God” was a nice touch. The mountains look impressive, too.
Thanks! Believe it or not, I came up with a super easy way to draw mountains like that with just 3 colors: Fill the whole shape with your medium tone, paint on the dark areas, then paint on the light areas, blur slightly for distance, and tada! So long as you keep most of the light areas facing the same direction, pretty much anything else you do will come out looking cool.
I see someone has been watching Bob Ross. :)
Not enough happy little trees. But I’ll totally take that as a compliment.
There are no mistakes, only joyful shining stars.
Can I suggest recoloring the sign? I can barely even see that black on dark brown, much less read it.
I totally wanna eat at “The Pancake Panda”. Nice to see pandas shilling something besides Chinese food.
They may be rice flour pancakes.
I’ve never had a rice flour pancake but now I think I might want to have a rice flour pancake.
Peaceful mountain town? Is that a possible nod to South Park episode Chefs Salty Chocolate Balls (I think that’s the one)?
Kinda seems Pi is the only prosecutor in the state beside the senior one from the wiretap.
Dat face on Pi…
I’m not sure why the prosecution doesn’t offer a plea.
I know she’s going to win, but doesn’t it seem more nice to offer a plea?
idk, I speak fairness not justice
Just found this and have been reading. As far as I can figure, lawyers, judges, and politicians have nullified everything with all the exceptions and special circumstances that have been added over the years
It sure seems like that sometimes.
