Even so, Ledway and Bahr were the first ones to arrive at the rendezvous.
Inside a giant aircraft hangar, beside a sleek private jet with the emblem “big cheese”, Bahr watches in disbelief as Ledway blasts off into the distance with a VROOM.
Ledway dropped Bahr off and skedaddled, afraid of being caught. Nobody’s seen him since.
I arrived next, without Mrs. Flavors. We’d gotten separated en route. She showed up 15 minutes later with a wad of cash.
Mrs. Flavors holding the briefcase in one hand, and a wad of cash in the other.
Seems she’d stopped on the way to hack an ATM.
Not part of the plan, just for the fun of it.
