This is a purely educational website. Nothing here is legal advice or creates or implies an attorney-client relationship. If you have a specific legal issue, PLEASE talk to a lawyer who practices where you live—laws vary from place to place, and how they're applied varies from courthouse to courthouse. Your local county bar association can probably refer someone.

It's best to keep all discussions in the comments. But if you really need to reach Nathan privately, go ahead and email him at n.e.burney@gmail.com. He won't mind.
THE ILLUSTRATED GUIDE TO LAW and the PEEKING JUSTICE logo are pretty damn cool trademarks and should probably be registered one of these days.

Nice touch with the tunics and safety vests. But they’re not wearing closed toe shoes…
Well, it would have been weird to put them in peep-toe boots.
Commenting here since it’s the most recent comic: anyone know of a good way to search the comments? Google doesn’t seem to be indexing them, I’m trying to find a story Nathan told in the comment section involving witness identification, I believe that the suspect was wearing what Nathan described as a “cuckoo clock” around his neck and that his cross-examination “consisted of an amused look at the jury.” Of course, I’ve read the memory section, so it’s entirely possible I’m misremembering :)
Google has always been weird about what comments it does and doesn’t index on this site, and they’ve been fiddling with the algorithm again recently. I’m going to see if there’s a way I can make them locally searchable.
In the meantime, the page you’re looking for is: Police vs Privacy pg 89.
Thank you Nathan! Much appreciated.
