The Illustrated Guide to Criminal Law
Chapter 15: It Was Either Him or Me
Self-Defense pg 2: No, Bro!
Two men hide behind rocks, guns drawn, as Rico rides in
At their nearby ranch, however, the Morgan brothers were ready and waiting for him.
BRO 1
You ready, Eddie?
BRO 2
And waiting, Arnold.
[SUGGESTED EDIT: Make the names match up]
The instant Rico roped one of their steers, Eddie leaped into action.
Eddie points a gun at Rico, who’s just lassoed a longhorn.
EDDIE
Drop it or you’re dead!
But then Arnold did something strange:
Arnold stops Eddie, while Rico and his horse share a glance
ARNOLD
No, bro!
Put that gun away!
I realize this is very late, but…. it’s confusing because it seems like who Eddie and Arnold are changed midway in this strip? Which makes it hard for me to follow in the next couple strips as well.
You are the first person to EVER catch that…
.
.
…and you are RIGHT!
.
.
Dang and blast it, you’re right.
.
.
.
Heck.
The first panel led me to believe this entire lesson would be presented to the tune of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”.
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
