The Illustrated Guide to Criminal Law
Chapter 15: It Was Either Him or Me
Self-Defense pg 8: Shifting Gears
Very well, then. Let’s head over to town…
Eddie and Arnold ride into a western town with a big hotel/saloon, a jail, and a strip mall with stores “Western Kitty dresses and millinery,” “Fudge!” and “OMG Hats!”
…to the saloon, where the Morgan brothers went the next day to celebrate the recapture of their cattle.
As the brothers walk through the saloon doors, their horses at the hitching post exchange a surprised look with the cowgirl pony from a kid’s cartoon.
Dig the “OMG Hats!” and “Fudge!” signs…
APPLEJACK! /Best/ pony!
Mighty convenient, having the jail right next to the saloon.
Definitely points for putting in Applejack!
The humor finally returns! ;-)
Are these guys just traditional ranchers, or do they actually live in the 19th century? Because I wouldn’t expect the law to stay constant over 150 years, even in a basic area like self-defense.
My Little Pony dates to the 80’s.
Ha, I wasn’t expecting to see any references to THAT show in this comic! Kudos!
Was the fudge sign a reference to Hannibal the Cannibal musical?
