No wonder that baby was so angry at the beginning.<\/p>\n<p><em>The &#8220;Handy Dandy Mens Rea-O-Meter&#8221; thermometer, with markings from &#8220;Accidental&#8221; at the bottom up through &#8220;Negligent&#8221; and &#8220;Reckless&#8221; and &#8220;Knowing&#8221; to &#8220;Intentional&#8221; at the top.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Even so, now we have a useful SCALE of culpability, based on the mental state of the person\u00a0 what done it.<\/p>\n<p>But that&#8217;s not all there is to it. Not by any stretch of the imagination.
