And even in the ones that do allow it, it&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>not<\/strong> a complete defense\u2060\u2014all it does is knock a murder charge down to a lesser\u00a0<strong>manslaughter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Fred boxing with a child&#8217;s inflatable clown punching bag<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>CLOWN BAG<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Dude, take some anger management classes, already!<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>rationale<\/strong> here is that society doesn&#8217;t think it&#8217;s as bad as premeditated murder when you kill someone who brought it on\u00a0<strong>himself,<\/strong> someone who did something so outrageous that it would have caused\u00a0<strong>anyone<\/strong> to become so enraged that they would have lost control.<\/p>\n<p>TV and movies aside, however, this defense doesn&#8217;t come up all that much in\u00a0<strong>real life.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>TV show &#8220;Judge Jacob!&#8221; is not equal to a real life trial<\/em><\/p>\n<p>And when it does, juries\u00a0<strong>rarely<\/strong> go for it.
