But humility is hard.<\/p>\n

After the Persians \u201cfreed\u201d them, a thin trickle of former exiles returned (over a period of many decades) to the rubble that was once Jerusalem\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026and they returned with dreams.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this minor province of the Persian Empire, they dreamt of restoring<\/strong> Yahweh\u2019s kingdom. And they dreamt of restoring those mythical glory days<\/strong> of King David\u2026 the majesty of Solomon\u2026 the opulence of the Queen of Sheba\u2026<\/p>\n

It sure wasn\u2019t going to happen on its own.<\/p>\n

They needed something new. Something big.<\/p>\n

They needed\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n
