One has a fez and a big foam #1 hand, which he\u2019s raising excitedly. The other, perplexed, is gesturing offscreen. He\u2019s wearing a turban.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">NARRATION:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">All peoples\u2014even those of minor imperial outposts\u2014need to feel special. We all have to have some reason to feel that <strong>our<\/strong> team is the <strong>best.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">FEZ GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>We\u2019re number one!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">TURBAN GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">How? You just got your asses handed to you by one empire\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">-=-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Panel 2: Turban Guy lifts his arms to a map of the Persian Empire, which stretches from India to the Balkans, from Turkey to Libya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">TURBAN GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u2026and now you\u2019re engulfed by an even greater one.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">FEZ GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">True, we may not be the mightiest <strong>people<\/strong> on <strong>Earth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">-=-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Panel 3: Fez Guy is still exuberant, and Turban Guy is shrugging irritatedly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">FEZ GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">But our god <strong>is<\/strong> the mightiest <strong>god<\/strong> in the <strong>heavens!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">TURBAN GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">So?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">-=-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Panel 4: Fez Guy proudly points his thumb at his chest.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">FEZ GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">So <strong>we<\/strong> are the only people he <strong>protects.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">We\u2019re his <strong>chosen<\/strong> people!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">-=-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Panel 5: Turban Guy spreads his arms, Fez Guy crosses his.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">TURBAN GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">So where was your god when Babylon came knocking?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">FEZ GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Shush.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">-=-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Panel 6: Fez guy excitedly raises his #1 foam hand again, while Turban Guy leans in and looks off to the side.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">FEZ GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Who\u2019s better than us! We\u2019re number one!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">TURBAN GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Back up\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">-=-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Panel 7: With a POKE!, Turban Guy jabs Fez Guy hard in the chest with his finger.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">TURBAN GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Why <strong>you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">How come he doesn\u2019t protect anyone else?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">FEZ GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Because of our <strong>covenant!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">TURBAN GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Your cov- what?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">FEZ GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">We have a <strong>contract<\/strong> with God!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">-=-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Panel 8: Fez Guy gestures to a large scroll with the terms of a contract written on it in ancient Imperial Aramaic, complete with a foil seal and signature lines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">FEZ GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">In exchange for us all worshipping <strong>only<\/strong> Yahweh, he protects <strong>only<\/strong> us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">TURBAN GUY:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">But isn\u2019t your <strong>king<\/strong> the one who keeps your god happy?
