There’s an offshoot of Accomplice Liability called FELONY MURDER, which most states are going to apply in this case.
The rule varies from state to state, but in essence it says that if you’re participating in a serious crime (a felony), and someone gets killed during that crime, then you will be liable for murder—no matter who did the actual killing—so long as either
1) The crime was dangerous to begin with
or
2) The death was foreseeable.
