But accomplice liability isn’t the only way to charge multiple people with the same crimes. Most jurisdictions (but not all) have a separate crime that lets the State prosecute people for agreeing to commit a crime. So let’s talk now about CONSPIRACY.

Like Attempt and Solicitation, Conspiracy is what’s called an “inchoate” crime.
In other words, whether the intended offense ever happens is unimportant. The mere circumstances alone are punishable enough.
