Want me to speak at your school? Just ask.

I’ve been giving talks and lectures for many years now, and it’s always a good time. Got some rowdy high schoolers? A class on police encounters might get their attention. An undergraduate class may enjoy a guest talk on the history and policy of the jury system, or due process. Law students have enjoyed a presentation on professionalism, and many fellow lawyers have taken my classes on difficult areas of criminal defense. I’m happy to do “author visits” for school librarians, as well.

I don’t ask for any particular honorarium–that’s up to you. Don’t feel obliged, especially if students are buying books! I only ask that you cover my basic travel costs outside NYC.

Feel free to shoot me an email at n.e.burney (at) gmail.com.
