Now that I’ve come up for air, THE COMIC WILL RESUME FORTHWITH. I’ve already started inking the first panel of the next page. (Which is going to be a doozy. One of the longer pages I’ve done, and that’s saying something. Should be fun, though.)
(If you truly are interested, I must apologize for it being so short. I am well aware that the paper is criminally brief. Each section deserves a full volume of its own, and could certainly fill one. And I entirely left out the economic context, which is fascinating, but which I deemed too tangential here. My cutting-room floor would give a deep-sea squid thalassophobia—an abyss of appendices, unimaginable depths of digressions, fathomless floods of forsaken footnotes…. Still, what remains should be enough to get you started with.)
